The Ondo State Lawmaker representing the good people of Okitipupa/Irele Federal Constituency has congratulated Nigerians on the 63rd Independence Day anniversary, saying the country remains great and full of potential, irrespective of its current challenges of economic quagmire, nationhood and development.
Hon. Jimi Odimayo joins President Bola Tinubu and the rest of the country to felicitate with Nigerians, especially the people of Okitipupa/Irele Federal Constituency and Ondo State as a whole on the 63rd independence anniversary.
He extolled the invaluable contributions of the Founding Fathers of Nigeria, for laying seamless and formidable foundation for the nation stressing that without those relentless struggles of the Founding Fathers, the current unity of Nigeria would have been a mirage.
While acknowledging the current challenges in national development, Hon. Odimayo expresses his optimism about Nigeria's future adding that with unity, patriotism, discipline, a positive attitude, and a belief in the nation's diversity and ingenuity, Nigeria can realize its full potential as the world's largest black nation.
He stated that truly Nigeria is undergoing a truly challenging phase in national development. "However, I am upbeat that we will emerge better, stronger, more united and prosperous as a people".
The Chairman House Committee on National Population Commission congratulates President Tinubu and commends his efforts in revitalizing the country's economy and addressing security concerns to promote national peace and stability.
While applauding Nigerians for their hard work and resourcefulness on the global stage, he encourages them to set an example of peaceful coexistence despite their diversity.
