By Alex Enumah in Abuja Justice Oathman Musa of an Abuja High Court sitting in Bwari Area Council of Abuja on Tuesday Nullified the nomination of Senator Ademola Adeleke as candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in the September 2018 Governorship Election in Osun State. Adeleke, who represents Osun West Senatorial District at the National Assembly was the PDP’s candidate in the 2018 governorship election in Osun state. Two Chieftains of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Wahab Raheem and Adam Habeeb, had in 2018 barely few days to the governorship election in Osun State had dragged Adeleke to court, accusing him of not possessing the requisite educational qualification (secondary school certificate) to contest for the office of governor. UTME: JAMB Announces New Date For Printing Of Exam Slips April 2, 2019 JAMB, New Date, News Alert, Printing Of Exam Slips, UTME The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has rescheduled the printing of the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) slip to Thursday, April 4. Fabian Benjamin, JAMB’s head of media and publicity, disclosed this in an interview with journalists on Tuesday in Abuja. The printing of the examination slips was initially scheduled to begin on Tuesday, April 2. Benjamin said the shift in date came after 14 computer-based tests (CBT) centres were on Monday, suspended due to infractions during the board’s conduct of the mock test, including an incident where JAMB staff were attacked at one of its centres. “The suspension has caused some distortion in the initial arrangement and the board will have to relocate candidates who were scheduled to write (the examination) in the affected centres to other suitable centres,” said Benjamin.

BREAKING NEWS BREAKING: Court dismisses suit seeking to stop election results collation in Rivers Published Ade Adesomoju, Abuja The Federal High Court in Abuja on Tuesday dismissed a suit filed by the African Action Congress and three of its members seeking to stop the Independent National Electoral Commission from concluding and collating the results of the March 9, 2019 governorship and House of Assembly Elections in Rivers State. Dismissing the suit in a judgment, Justice Inyang Ekwo upheld the preliminary objection filed by the Peoples Democratic Party to challenge the jurisdiction of the court to hear the case. The judge agreed with the PDP that the Federal High Court lacked jurisdiction to hear the case adjudge to be seeking post-election prayers which could only be entertained by an election petition tribunal. He held that the suit was an attempt by the plaintiffs to make the court constitute itself into an election petition tribunal. The plaintiffs who filed the suit
