President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan Writes: On this day nine years ago I lost a friend, colleague, brother, and boss, President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua. He was a selfless leader who placed national interest above personal and ethnic gains. President Yar'Adua was a man of integrity with a humble spirit who always took upon himself the burden of national reconciliation, peace-building, and democratic consolidation. He used the opportunity he had in public service to build bridges of love, foster unity and give hope to Nigerians. Today, I remember and celebrate him for the works that he had done. The peace he lived for and homes of peace he built. Democracy he loved and democracy he nurtured. We will always remember you for your service. A servant leader truly you remain.

Alaafin Sets The Record Straight, Refutes Ooni's Claim On Yoruba Ancestral Ties With Igbos SCRIPT OF THE LETTER PUBLISHED IN THE NIGERIAN TRIBUNE ON THURSDAY, 2 MAY, 2019 PAGE 9 In recent time, I have been inundated with calls and even visits to my Palace on a recent Video Tape showing His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife during the Aje Festival in Ile-Ife, Osun State. With all sense of modesty but candour, I cannot recall exactly the number of the video tapes that have been sent to me by well-meaning Yoruba elders and patriots.
