Children Rejoice as Irele LG Celebrates 2023 Children's Day in Grand Style. Children were thrilled yesterday as Irele Local Government Council Celebrated Primary and Secondary school students as part of the activities earmarked for the 2023 International Children's Day. The Program which drew people from walks of life was a fiesta of celebration for the children in attendance. The program started with an opening prayer that dissected the theme of the 2023 International Children's Day "The State of Nigeria Today; Proper Parenting for Value Re-orientation and National Consciousness". The Lead Discussant in the program, Chief Femi Moyegun in his discourse emphasised the importance of the theme and called on stakeholders to uphold it for the betterment of the younger generation.
