BEMORE 2023: OMO'OBA JIMI ODIMAYO PICKS BEST FEMALE STUDENTS ACROSS IRELE/OKITIPUPA FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY.
• COMMITS N5 MILLION FOR THE TRAINING OF GIRLS-CHILD IN SECONDARY SCHOOLS.
In his bid to further develop the potential of the younger generation, the Member of the House of Representatives representing the good people of Irele/Okitipupa federal constituency, Hon. (Prince) Okunjimi Odimayo has again selected the best female students in Irele/Okitipupa federal constituency in the ongoing 2023 edition of BEMORE program.
The Lawmaker has equally committed the sum of five million naira (5 million) to further expose female students to rigorous training in the sixth edition of BEMORE currently ongoing.
Hon. Odimayo said the gesture remains imperative to ensure that girl children fully utilized their potential for a sustainable future.
According to the Chairman of the House Committee on National Population Commission, Providing equal training opportunities to female students promotes gender equality by ensuring that all individuals have the chance to develop their skills and talents regardless of their gender.
He further stated that training female students is crucial for creating a more inclusive, diverse, and equitable society, while also unlocking their potential to contribute significantly to various fields and sectors in Ondo State and Nigeria at large.
The philanthropist commended Ondo State First Lady, Chief Mrs Betty Anyanwu Akeredolu, Ada Owerri 1, for providing a platform for developing girl children and women adding that her humanitarian gesture has the potential to create a brighter future for individuals, families, communities, and the Country as a whole.
Hon. Odimayo assured the First Lady his unwavering support for all the programs anchored by BEMORE.
He reiterates his commitment to contribute significantly to the training of the younger generations across Irele and Okitipupa local governments, Ondo State and Nigeria at large.
