Ondo South Senatorial District: Winners have emerged, victory is for the development of the district - support the winners and encourage the runners up.

I hereby on behalf of thousands of members of the Association, all the leadership structures of the Association and by extension all the people of Ondo South Senatorial District congratulate our Senator-Elect, Members House of Representatives-Elect in the three federal constituencies and extend our congratulations to the Nigerian President-Elect.

No doubts, our Senator-Elect, Dr Jimoh Folohunso Ibrahim CFR has the capacity and influence to bring and lobby developmental projects to the district and human capital development will also be achieved due to his capacity, influence and connection. As such, won't doubt his 'can do' ability and performance won't be an unachievable task for him. The result and margin between the winner and runner-ups of the senatorial race (Dr Jimoh Ibrahim CFR of the APC secured 110,665 votes to defeat H.E, Agboola Ajayi of the PDP who scored 65,784) has further shown and supported the large majority of the association members and leaders decision before the election.

 We therefore call on our sons and daughters including the PDP senatorial candidate, Hon. Agboola Ajayi to, in all sense of development of the senatorial district and the welfare of her people,  work with the winner; Dr Jimoh Folohunso Ibrahim CFR. We know the new era of renewed hope is here surely, with the collaboration between the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and our Senator-elect the desired destination for development will be achieved.

In the same vein, we congratulate our Members of the House of Representatives - elect for their well deserved victory which further justified the majority decision of members and leaders of the Association. No doubt, all the contestants are worthy to represent but all can't do that at the same time. We therefore urged the PDP candidates who are the runner-ups across the three federal constituencies to support the winners because the people have already given them their mandates by voting uniformly to support a uniform arrangement so as to underpin development especially with a sound collaborative approach with the Senator and the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

This is no longer news but we shall keep the records of the voting pattern (Hon. Festus Adefiraye of APC secured 36,147 votes to emerge winner for Ileoluji/Okeigbo/Odigbo federal constituncey and defeated Dr Olatunji Felder of PDP who polled 19,167 votes. Also, Prince Jimi Odimayo of APC secured 44,638 votes to emerge winner for Irele/Okitipupa federal constituncey and defeated the incumbent Hon. Gboluga Ikengboju of PDP who polled 21,066 votes. Also, Hon. Donald Ojogo of APC secured 26,306 votes to emerge winner for Ilaje/Ese-Odo federal constituncey and defeated the incumbent, Hon. Kolade Akinjo who polled 22,390 votes)

The above statistics became imperative so as to keep up the support and caution where and when necessary because the voice of men is the voice of God.

Togetherness wins any battle and we assure all of our smooth and continued support for all the elected.  We will be alive to where watchdog responsibility is needed, the association will also deem it fit to do so as to put all on their toes and never move away from the implementation of the promises that birthed their mandates.

Once again, Congratulations

Signed;

*Ade-Aworetan Oluwajuwon Adejare*

President, OSAWA
