MATHEW KOLAWOLE EMERGES AS SPEAKER OF 7TH KOGI STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY. Prince Mathew Kolawole, Member Representing Kabba Bunu Constituency in the Kogi State House of Assembly has emerged as the Speaker of the seventy Assembly. Prince Mathew Kolawole was elected as speaker today after the inauguration of the seventh Kogi state House of Assembly by the state governor, Yahaya Bello. Yahaya Bello said his proclamation of the 7th Assembly is in accordance to the Nigeria Constitution of Section 105, sub section 3. He urged them to represent their constituencies well for better results. Other elected members are: * Hon. Ahmed Ahmed - Deputy Speaker * Hon. Bello Abdullahi - Majority Leader * Hon. Ndakwo - Deputy Majority * Hon. Muktar Salisu - Chief Whip * Hon. Moses Ododo - Deputy Chief Whip Meanwhile the House is adjourned to 1st August 2019 for commencement of full Legislative Business.
