IRLG Mini Stadium Update
Mini Stadium: Irele LG Council Boss, Ajimotokin Lays Foundation for Pavilion.
• Says the Staidium Will be Commissioned in a Few Months.
• Visits Area Affected by Gully Erosion in Ode Irele.

In furtherance of his commitment to constructing a Mini Stadium in Irele Local Government, the Executive Chairman, Hon. (Barr.) Olusegun Ajimotokin earlier today laid the foundation for the construction of the stadium Pavilion.
Hon. Ajimotokin while addressing the engineers and workers during the laying of the foundation for the pavilion declared that the stadium is scheduled for completion in a few months, urging the engineers to redouble their efforts in ensuring the job is delivered on the scheduled period.
The Council Helm reiterated that the stadium is aimed at boosting sports infrastructure and making training facilities more accessible to sports enthusiasts in the Local Government adding that in the coming months, the stadium would contribute significantly to the discovery of talents in sporting activities across the local government and enhance social programs, especially among the Youths. "When completed, the stadium would accommodate basketball, volleyball and tennis courts", he stated.
He assured that his government would continue to make judicious use of available resources in the council for the advancement of Irele Local Government and the people.
Shortly after performing the foundation laying of the pavilion, he visited part of Bamoyegun Quarter affected by gully erosion and promised to provide the support that will cushion the threat of the gully to the people living in the area while assuring that his government will continue to liaise with the state and federal for timely intervention in all areas affected by gully erosion across the local government area.
Using Pa Obajulaye Aka Dede as a point of contact for all landlords in the area, the chairman commended the landlords for the efforts geared towards controlling the surge of erosion in the last few years and promised prompt support.
