Children's Day.

Children's Day: Irele L. G Council Boss, Ajimotokin Felicitates with Children.

• Advocates Wider Access to Quality Education for Children.

... As he Tasks Parents on Genuine Parenting.

Irele Local Government Council Boss, Hon. (Barr.) Olusegun Ajimotokin has conveyed greetings to the children and the people of Irele Local Government on the occasion of Children’s Day, 2023 edition.

The Honourable Chairman tasked the federal and state governments to provide wider access to quality education that would further reduce the number of out-of-school children in the country.

He equally charged parents to live up to their responsibilities by providing genuine parenting for their wards adding that the conduct of the parents is a point of reference to these young budding minds and the precedence set or leave behind is what they would imbibe calling on parents and guardians to invest in the education of their children and wards, giving them moral training, as well as exposing them to the practice of their respective cultures and traditions.

Hon. Ajimotokin describes children as God’s precious gift that must be well taken care of with good morals and Western education.

The Council Boss advised the children to be of good moral behaviour, honesty and fear God in whatever they do and also concentrate on their education to justify the huge investment in them by their parents and the government.

He implores them to shun bad characters such as thuggery, drug abuse and other social vices which may ruin their future.

Hon. Ajimotokin reiterated his administration's commitment to quality education and creating an enabling environment for teaching and learning.

The Council Boss on behalf of the government and the people of Irele Local Government congratulate the children and wished them a promising future.

Signed:

Victor Adedeji,

Chief Press Secretary to the Executive Chairman,

Irele Local Government.
