The Executive Chairman, Irele Local Government, Hon. (Barr.) Olusegun Ajimotokin has congratulated the Senator-Elect, Ondo South Senatorial District, Dr Jimoh Ibrahim CFR and Member of House of Representatives elect in Irele/Okitipupa federal constituency, Prince Jimi Odimayo over their resounding victory in the just concluded Presidential/National Assembly election. 


Hon. Ajimotokin in a statement affirmed that their victory is proof that they are loved and accepted by the people. 


"Dr Jimoh emerged as the winner with a landslide victory after amassing a total number of 110,667 votes to beat his closest rival, former Ondo State Deputy Governor, Hon. Agboola Ajayi polled 65,784. Prince Jimi Odimayo equally emerged as the winner of Irele/Okitipupa federal constituency seat after amassing a total number of 26, 120 votes to beat his closest rival, Hon. Gboluga Ikengboju polled 14, 473 votes". 


He stated that the emergence of Dr Jimoh Ibrahim and Prince Jimi Odimayo is a welcomed development as it would bring about unprecedented devedevelopment in Ondo South Senatorial District and Irele/Okitipupa federal constituency. 


Hon. Ajimotokin charges Dr Jimoh Ibrahim CFR and Prince Jimi Odimayo to reciprocate the people's love for them with excellent representation that would revamp Ondo South Senatorial District and Irele/Okitipupa federal constituency.


The Council Boss congratulates the duo and wished them a successful tenure.
