   2023: Efficacy of Irele/Okitipupa Federal Constituency and Prince Jimi Odimayo's Determination to Effect Development from Below.

It is no longer news that the constituency development projects programme initiated by the nation’s parliament at the inception of the Fourth Republic, aimed at achieving even development in every nook and cranny of Nigeria, has become a failed phenomenon due to the inability of some lawmakers to utilise it for the benefit of their constituents. 

Constituency development projects must have a direct bearing and impact on the people and this is the mission Prince Jimi Odimayo is determined to establish for the benefit of the good people of Irele/Okitipupa Federal Constituency. 

Prince Jimi's idea of Constituency projects is that it does not have to be restricted to the drilling of boreholes and related ubiquitous projects that have been recycled over the years, as many other projects could be more impactful to the people and that can be achieved through a purposeful representation. 

For instance, many primary healthcare centres in our various communities are in moribund states and if the mandate is given to Prince Jimi Odimayo, he would not only be committed to carrying out new projects, but he would also revive existing projects that have a direct bearing on the people most especially resuscitating primary healthcare centre across towns and villages in Irele and Okitipupa Local Governments. This becomes imperative because of the many challenges that affect Ikale people, which contribute to the low life span of men and women. 

Inadequate healthcare provision in rural areas is one of our challenges and Prince Jimi 

Odimayo would address them if allowed to represent Ikale People at the Green Chamber. 

Nigeria today faces food insecurity despite having a very vibrant youth population and fertile soils across the country most especially in Ikale. As a successful business mogul, Prince Jimi Odimayo would also utilise constituency project funds to improve agriculture by providing tools and improved seedlings to farmers across communities to contribute greatly to the country's food chain. 

Prince Jimi Odimayo's passion for modern education would reflect in his performance as a lawmaker, equipping schools that lack educational materials and structures and repositioning the educational system through a fundamental legislative apparatus and a more public-spirited approach. 

Prince Jimi Odimayo's notion of what Constituency projects stand to achieve is to ensure that the projects serve their ultimate end. That is, the delivery of democratic dividends to the constituents, most of whom are currently short-changed by the antics and self-serving attitudes of our politicians. 

As a refined philanthropist with a simple and dynamic approach to public issues, Prince Jimi Odimayo would do everything necessary to ensure a qualitative representation of the Ikale people by changing the narrative and the dynamics of how constituency project funds are being utilised. 

One evidential fact that he would perform excellently as a lawmaker is his financial stability and as a man whose God has blessed, acquisition of wealth would no longer be his priority but bringing dividends of democracy to the good people of Irele/Okitipupa Federal Constituency. 

Prince Jimi Odimayo is ready to rekindle the system and also determine to carry out projects that are in tandem with the yearnings and aspirations of the Ikale people. 

Given from above and Prince Jimi Odimayo's consistency and contributions to ikale projects for more than a decade now, it is evident that he would make Ikale people his overarching priority if elected as a member of the house of representatives in our great federal constituency. 

On this note, I beseech the good people of Irele and Okitipupa Local Governments particularly the Youth to join hands together and elect Prince Jimi Odimayo as a member of the House of Representatives in the forthcoming 2023 general elections to move our constituency forward through a dynamic legislative framework.
