PRESIDENT BUHARI ORDERS MINISTERS TO HANDOVER PORTFOLIOS.
President Muhammadu Buhari has directed all outgoing ministers to handover their portfolios on the 28th of May, 2019 to the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha.
He gave this directive during the Federal Executive Council meeting (FEC) valedictory session which held at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The president said despite the fact that the valedictory FEC meeting was the last for the outgoing ministers before the inauguration of his second term on the 29th of May, they should continue working in their capacity till Tuesday 28th of May, 2019.
All the thirty one ministers who attended the session in the Council chamber took turns to thank the President for finding them worthy of the appointment in the past three and half years
The President who commended the ministers for their outstanding contributions said they should be proud that they have served the nation well.
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo also commended the president for his exemplary leadership qualities and thanked him for the rare opportunity to serve with him.
