JUST IN: Protest Hits Abuja As indigenes Troop Out Against Army Over Forceful Land Takeover.

The coalition of FCT indigenous Association in Collaboration with affected communities are currently protesting against an alleged forceful takeover of lands by the Nigerian army, Nigerian Cable News online can report.
The said takeover are said to be in giri, kapkuru, Ido Sarki, Zuba and Tunga maje areas of Abuja.
The protesters in their hundreds are gathered at the FCDA office in area 11 Garki Abuja.
The leader of the troop who refused to mention his name said there will be no vehicular movement of staff and work in the secretariat until there is a genuine intervention by necessary stakeholders.
Efforts by our correspondent to hear from the FCDA management over the protest which started around 15 minutes to 9:00am and is still ongoing as at the time of filing this report has proved abortive.
